Re-doing Blogatee.com proved to be quite a challenge. I had neglected it for many years due to Jim’s home-going and all the cascades of upheaval that it brought, both physical and emotional . The only things I maintained were the domain name and the hosting. Somehow I believed that God would re-birth that zeal inside of me to get back with these things.

In addition, I neglected to update the WordPress theme, resulting in a sadly ancient and out-dated site. My tech-savvy cousin helped by updating WordPress, thank you, Terry, then it was up to me to rebuild the site.

The Divi theme-builder has made it possible to make this site a bit more dynamic and flexible than before. I am still learning, and I have to admit that I dragged my feet for quite a while because I knew there would be a hefty learning curve. But here we are, on the other side, not perfect, but still moving forward.

So what’s new? On the Home page, you can see a bright gold shield. Music for the Christian Warrior was the name that we used for our original Christian music. I have installed around 50 new pages containing these complete song clips, along with downloadable chord sheets for most. There are also soundtracks for some of the music which I will install when I can.

In addition, there are two more albums of music to come: Just for You Memorial Album and Soaking in God’s Presence, which will have the beautiful guitar music that Jim composed just for praying and soaking.

And what’s gone? I thought it was about time to retire the genealogy blogs. I researched my entire family (11 families in all, back to the time that they came to the USA) and published a 600 page book in 2018, so I don’t feel the need to explore this topic any longer.

I think you will find that the navigation is easier to use, and now that I am back in the saddle, so to speak, I am gathering all those articles that I have written in preparation for posting but never did. You may see new articles appearing pretty often, although I’m not making any promises. Hope you come back often.

Blessings to you,

Chandra Lynne
