Several years ago, I became intrigued with the idea of being able to map out locations in the Bible, so I decided to map out the throne room of God. It was a fun exercise and I actually ended up giving my research results at a church one Sunday morning. Everybody had a good time with it and we all became a little more intimate with the real-ness of God as we ‘unpacked’ the actual appearance and character of God’s throne room.

I believe that God gives us an immense amount of information in the scriptures, but it is not all straightforward. He hides little nuggets and tasty morsels all over the place. He may reveal some tidbits to you when you least expect it.

The Throne Room mapping in the next articles is really more of an outline than a treatise. Feel free to build on it, as I am sure there is much more than what I managed to uncover.
