More Precious Than Gold was our first album, professionally recorded in 1982 at Pinebrook Studio in Alexandria, Indiana. It was produced by Steve Millikan, a very gifted musician who also played keyboards and arranged the instruments and vocals for the pieces. The synthesizer was a Pro One, an early monophonic synthesizer, and was played by Jim H, Steve M and Charles Woodrick. Each song from the album was based on The Lords Prayer, exploring its depths of meaning. All of the song lyrics were meticulously based on scripture from the King James Bible.

The Kingdom
During His ministry on earth, Jesus preached about the kingdom of God, describing it in many ways and speaking of its nearness. Indeed, the kingdom of God is at hand: it is within every born-again child of God.
The Kingdom, the second cut from the album, references the descriptions of the Kingdom of God that Jesus and others said about the kingdom of God on earth. There are 16 specific biblical references found in the lyrics, listed in the order in which they are found in the song lyrics.
LYRICS
Soon shall come a day
when all flesh shall see Him
For the Kingdom of the Lord
will encompass and fill the earth
Each man shall freely worship
the Lord of lords, the King of kings
And those that live shall be saints
of the Most High God
Forever and ever, forever and ever
Forever and ever, forever and ever
And all men shall be saints
and all flesh shall see Him
Lord God, Thy kingdom come
Father, Thy kingdom come
The promise is to all who believe
And the marriage shall take place
and all invited shall come
The treasure shall be found
and be bought with gold
The mustard shall be full
with fowl in its branch
The harvest shall come
and grain be stored
And the virgins, with their lighted lamps
shall not be put out
Then the kingdom of God
shall devour the nations
The Kingdom of God
shall devour the nations
When the seventh angel sounds
and the great voices call
Then shall be fulfilled the Word of the Lord
Father, Thy kingdom come
Father, Thy kingdom come
Father, Thy kingdom come
